4) Register Your Own Business in Utah and obtain general liability insurance and/or errors and omissions (E&O) insurance. Home inspector insurance policies are affordable and will protect you against career-ending lawsuits. Build your own home inspection business in Utah and enjoy the success that follows!

Becoming certified now may also make you eligible to be "grandfathered in" when new licensing laws or stricter regulations take effect.

Note: As the industry grows, many states are enacting or changing legislation requiring training, supervised inspections and examinations for home inspectors. PHII students have had great success passing state and national exams, and you also receive FREE continuing education credits with your enrollment!
