The home inspection profession is regulated in Washington. Follow the steps below to become a licensed home inspector in Washington.
Washington requires classroom training and PHII is currently not approved by Washington to offer home inspector pre-license training. A home inspector licensing law became effective in 2009, and concluded grandfathering provisions in 2010. Washington requires field training in addition to classroom training.

As a gold-level AHI-accredited training provder, PHII can offer all home inspector graduates a free 1-year membership in the North American Association of Home Inspectors (AHI), a national non-profit professional home inspector association.
