How to Become a Licensed Home Inspector in New Jersey

home inspector state regulations PHII's Classroom Training Course is not approved for NJ Home Inspector Licensing.

Requirements: 180 hours of an approved course of study (with 40 supervised field hours) and pass the National Home Inspectors Examination, OR perform 250 inspections in the direct supervision of a licensed home inspector. High school graduation or its equivalent and E & O insurance is also required.

If you are a professional architect or engineer, you may be able to get licensed without additional classroom training. Our course will teach you what to inspect, but is not accepted for licensing.
