PHII offers comprehensive hands-on training at our Madison, South Dakota training facility beginning on the third Thursday of every other month (Feb.-Dec.). This practical field training is designed to be taken after you have completed your online coursework.

• Day 1: Live Property Inspection – Participate in a complete, live property inspection under the direct supervision and guidance of experienced, professional instructors.
• Day 2: Report Writing & Exam Prep – Gain practical, real-world experience drafting home inspection reports and receive targeted exam preparation guidance to help you pass your licensing test.

While hands-on field training is generally optional for certification—unless mandated by your specific state—it provides an exceptional opportunity to build confidence, sharpen your technical skills, and receive personalized mentorship in a true real-world environment.
